E.T., homophone!

I went down to the see sighed
and watched as the blew waives dyed –
as they seeded to the low tied.
And the whirled went bye.

On the flaw of my flat I lei;
I was tyred and wanted two prey
four sum won lovely and gnu…
and then – SOUP PRIZE! – as if rite on queue:
in walked fabulous ewe!

We eight a stake sandwich on wry,
pared with sum djinn and sum whine –
wye knot? Talking for ours at a thyme!
It’s clearly a sine –
your -ment to bee mine!

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

The challenge for Day 14 of NaPoWriMo was to write a poem which incorporates homophones, homographs and/or homonyms, “or otherwise makes productive use of English’s ridiculously complex spelling rules and opportunities for mis-hearings and mis-readings”… hence my silly homophonic alphabet-soup nonsense-rhyme!
